Known Issues
Absorbs moisture in hours
Cause: Polyvinyl alcohol is extremely hygroscopic
Fix: Print directly from a heated dry box and seal between sessions
Clogs at high temp
Cause: PVA degrades and chars above 215°C
Fix: Keep hotend below 200°C and never leave it idle hot
Slow water dissolution on big parts
Cause: Cold tap water is slow
Fix: Use warm water 35-40°C and gentle agitation; avoid boiling
