1. Who We Are
FixMyPrint is operated by MoosePunch Interactive. We build AI-powered tools for the 3D printing community. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use FixMyPrint at fixmyprint3d.com and our mobile applications.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information:
• Account information: Email address and password when you create an account.
• Profile information: First name, last name, display name, country, and profile photo (optional - only if you choose to add them).
• Usage data: The settings you generate, problems you fix, and photos you upload for diagnosis. These are stored to show you your generation history.
• Device information: Basic device and browser information for security and debugging purposes.
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
• Provide and improve the FixMyPrint service
• Process your AI generation requests
• Send you updates and announcements (only if you opted in)
• Enforce our rate limits (free vs Pro tier)
• Improve our AI prompts and results based on usage patterns
• Respond to support requests
4. Photos and AI Processing
When you use Photo Diagnosis (Pro feature), you upload a photo of your failed print. This photo is:
• Sent to OpenAI's API for analysis using GPT-4o Vision
• Stored temporarily during processing only
• Not used to train AI models
• Not shared with third parties beyond OpenAI for the purpose of analysis
OpenAI's privacy policy applies to data processed through their API.
5. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Your generation history and profile information are stored in our database. Profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
• Supabase - Database and authentication
• OpenAI - AI processing (settings generation and photo diagnosis)
• Stripe - Payment processing
• Upstash Redis - Rate limiting
• Vercel - Hosting
Each of these services has their own privacy policy and data processing terms.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data
• Opt out of marketing communications
To exercise these rights, use the account deletion feature in your Profile settings, or contact us at privacy@fixmyprint3d.com.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete all your personal information, generation history, and uploaded photos within 30 days. Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
FixMyPrint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of FixMyPrint after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
