1. Acceptance of Terms
By using FixMyPrint, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of FixMyPrint, including the web app at fixmyprint3d.com and our mobile applications.
2. Description of Service
FixMyPrint is a deterministic 3D printing troubleshooting and settings platform that provides:
• Settings Generator - Deterministic slicer settings engine for your printer and filament
• Pre-Flight Checks - Hardware-aware setup checks for enclosure compatibility, nozzle abrasion, temperature ceiling, PTFE safety, volumetric flow, moisture risk, bed surface, and extruder type
• Fix My Print - issue wording normalization into canonical failure categories, followed by deterministic fix ranking and exact slicer adjustments from community-verified fixes across 58,000+ Reddit posts.
• Photo Diagnosis (Pro) - AI vision analysis of failed print photos to detect the visible failure type
• Print Journey (Pro) - Per-print logging with cost tracking, filament dried date, and dry box status
• Slicer Export - Native profile file generation for import into slicer software
• Slicer Import - Parse and compare existing slicer profiles
• Filament Database - 1,317+ brand-specific filament profiles
• Printer Profiles - 128 detailed printer specifications
• Free Guides - 43 troubleshooting and how-to guides, no signup required
The service is provided by MoosePunch Interactive.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use FixMyPrint. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, trial limits, or access controls
• Delete and recreate accounts to reset free trial usage
• Upload images that contain illegal content
• Upload slicer profile files containing malicious or executable code
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract private implementation details
• Resell or redistribute FixMyPrint's outputs without permission
• Use automated tools to make bulk requests
5. Generated Content
FixMyPrint uses deterministic rule-based engines and community fix data to help diagnose and fix 3D printing issues. You acknowledge that:
• Settings Generator outputs are produced by a deterministic engine built from researched printing data - not AI. Settings are constrained within manufacturer-safe ranges for each filament type.
• Pre-flight checks are designed to catch common setup risks before generation. Hard stops and warnings are safety aids, not guarantees that a print is safe or successful.
• Fix My Print uses AI to normalize user wording into canonical issue categories and likely root causes. The recommendations themselves come from the deterministic engine and community fix data, not model-generated advice.
• Community-Verified Fixes are sourced from real Reddit posts and ranked by confirmed success rate. These are community suggestions, not guarantees.
• Photo Diagnosis (Pro) uses AI vision to analyze images of failed prints and detect the visible failure type. The ranked fixes and settings still come from the deterministic engine and community data.
• All recommendations are starting points. Always verify settings are appropriate for your specific hardware and filament.
• We are not responsible for damage to printers, filament, or prints resulting from applied recommendations.
• Settings should be reviewed and adjusted based on your results and experience.
• Slicer Import processes uploaded profile files transiently to extract settings for comparison. Files are not stored after processing.
• Outcome Tracking: when you confirm that a fix worked, that signal is used anonymously to improve fix success rate calculations for future users.
6. Subscription and Billing
FixMyPrint offers free access and Pro subscriptions:
- Free access - 3 Settings Generator uses/day and 3 Fix My Print uses/day, no card required
- Legacy Fix Pass - no longer sold for new purchases; existing active passes remain honored
- Pro - $9.99/month or $89.99/year, 50 Settings Generator uses/day, 50 Fix My Print diagnoses/day, Photo Diagnosis, and Print Journey
Web subscriptions are billed via Stripe. Mobile subscriptions are billed through Google Play or the App Store.
- You may cancel subscriptions at any time
- Subscription cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial billing periods
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
7. Intellectual Property
FixMyPrint and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by MoosePunch Interactive. You retain ownership of any photos you upload. By uploading photos, you grant us a limited license to process them through our photo diagnosis systems to provide the service.
8. Disclaimers
FixMyPrint is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that:
• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Generated settings will be accurate for your specific hardware
• The service will meet your specific requirements
Use all recommendations at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
MoosePunch Interactive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of FixMyPrint, including damage to your 3D printer, wasted filament, or failed prints. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 3 months.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time from Profile settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
