Known Issues

Stringing

Cause: High temperature or insufficient retraction

Fix: Lower temp to 230°C, increase retraction distance, add Z-hop

Sticks too well to the bed

Cause: PETG bonds aggressively to PEI and glass

Fix: Use a thin layer of glue stick or Z-offset slightly higher to prevent damage

Stringy first layer

Cause: Moisture in the spool

Fix: Dry the filament at 65°C for 4-6 hours
